The RYA one-day First Aid course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence, and some commercial work afloat (including craft operated under the Small Commercial Vessel Codes of Practice).
The course meets the requirementsof the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 for the purposes of Emergency First Aid at Work.
We offer the course at our Training Centre in Stourport, or we are happy to visit workplaces, boat clubs, and community organisations.
